Core  Values

The final authority for all our values and beliefs is the Word of God.

We value the Great Commandment to love God with all our heart, mind and strength.  Matthew 22:37-38

We value the Great Commandment to love one another and treat one another with respect and dignity.  Matthew 22:39; Gal. 5:13-14

We value the Great Commission and seek to introduce others to the Lord Jesus Christ that they may know Him as their personal Lord and Savior.  Matthew 28:18-20

We value Christian fellowship and the relationships we have with each person within the body of Christ and strive to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace, following Christ's guidelines for reconciling our relationships when conflicts occur.  Ephesians 4:3, 13-17; Matthew 5:23-24; 18:15-17; Galatians 6:1-5; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

We value marriage and the family and will love our mates and our children, and establish our homes under the Lordship of Christ.  Ephesians 5:22 - 6:4

We value ministry in the local church and will use our gifts and talents in the ministry God gives us, considering service to others a priority and a privilege.  Philippians 2:1-4; Romans 12:1-8

We value spiritual leadership and will honor the spiritual leaders God gives us by obeying God, praying for our leaders, encouraging them and supporting them.  1 Thessalonians 5:12-13; Hebrews 13:17

We value servant leadership and our leaders will honor God by their obedience to Him, by serving our people and providing spiritual oversight to the church, not as lords over the people but as examples to them.  1 Peter 5:1-4

We value prayer as our lifeline to God and will practice prayer in our personal devotional life and with the body of Christ.  Matt. 6::9-15; 18:18-20

We value worship as the expression of our heart to God, the essence of our existence and joyfully participate in the corporate worship of our church.  John 4:23-24; Acts 2:41-47

We value stewardship and seek to honor God in the giving and use of our financial resources.  2 Cor. 8-9

We value purity and seek to honor God by righteous living.  Matt. 5:8; Exodus 20:1-17

We value community and seek to build authentic relationships in the body of Christ. Acts 5:42; Hebrews 10:24
