Cortland Trinity Baptist Church

   According to Richard Stearns, President of World Vision, we have the resources, the technology and the means to virtually eliminate the most extreme kinds of poverty and suffering in our world but we lack the will to do it.  For too long the evangelical church has missed or underestimated the emphasis in scripture that reveals God’s heart for the poor and the oppressed.  There’s a hole in our gospel! This sermon series is God’s call to an extreme makeover in compassion and will challenge us to answer the question, “What does God expect of us?”
