God Must Answer the Prayers of Millions
The Bible is full of outlandish promises about prayer. We tend to diminish them. But God greatly desires that we trust Him and His promises.
“Without faith it is impossible to please God.” Hebrews 11:6
There is no doubt that God has promised to hear the faithful prayers of His people. Prayer is the very lifeline of our relationship with God. It is in abundant prayer that our relationship with the God of heaven expands to the vastness that it is!
Someone has rightly said, “Prayer is as powerful as the power of the God we pray to.”
The Holy Spirit is leading us to a new level of prayer. He is opening our eyes to see that the door to the presence of God swings wide open to us when we come in humility, reverence and faith. He reveals to us that the Father is inviting us to come just as the scripture says.
“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith…” Hebrews 10:22
We are in the midst of the greatest prayer movement in church history. There are millions of believers all over the world that are seeking God in prayer and they’re all praying the same thing; “Revive us O God.” I believe that God must answer these prayers! After all He not only has promised to answer our prayers but it is He who is calling us to such prayer!
God is the initiator of the global prayer movement. The millions who are praying are simply responding to His divine impulse.
The global prayer movement is an indication that God is preparing to do something! One would have to be a spiritual thick-head not to see it. As one church historian has said, “When God determines to send revival He first sets His people a praying.” And in past revival God has responded to the prayers of a few and poured out His Spirit to bless many. But today, God is being bombarded by prayer from literally millions of His children. He must answer these prayers!
A survey of the spiritual landscape reveals that God is preparing the world for a mighty work of His Spirit. If we look with spiritual eyes and ears and reach out to God with hands of faith a holy expectation will arise in our hearts. And with such expectation we can pray with even more confidence.
Unfortunately, we must look beyond the borders of the United States to see and hear of God’s great activities. That’s because the American church is behind the rest of the world in seeing and hearing these spiritual realities. But there is hope! More and more believers in America are hearing the call to prayer. O that God would increase this number.
Would you be one of these who hear His voice?
God is going to send revival—a mighty move of His Spirit to sweep many into the kingdom prior to the end. Those who become part of this Holy Spirit directed prayer movement will be the first to understand it and with such understanding they are the ones who faithfully cry out to God for forgiveness, grace, mercy and power.
God is up to something big! The train of revival is about to pull away from the station—all aboard!!
